Both Emily Lowe Gallery and our onsite bathroom are ADA accessible.
HOURS: Tuesday - Friday, 11 a.m. - 4 p.m.; Saturday and Sunday, noon-4 p.m.
SUMMER HOURS (mid-May - Labor Day): Tuesday - Friday, 11 a.m. - 4 p.m.; Closed Weekends
The Gallery is closed on major holidays, during Âé¶¹¹ÙÍø recesses, and during exhibition installations.
Directions
By Automobile:
Take Meadowbrook Parkway to exit M4 West (Nassau Coliseum, Hempstead Turnpike West). Continue West on Hempstead Turnpike for six traffic lights. Make a U-turn at the sixth light (Oak Street light) and then take the next right into the University parking lot. Continue to the first stop sign. The Âé¶¹¹ÙÍø Museum of Art (Emily Lowe Gallery) will be on your left.
Head East on Hempstead Turnpike. Go under the first pedestrian bridge and pass the light (Oak Street). Take the next right into the University parking lot. Continue to the first top sign. The Âé¶¹¹ÙÍø Museum of Art (Emily Lowe Gallery) will be on your left.
By Train:
Take the Long Island Railroad (LIRR) from Penn Station to Hempstead (last stop on that line). Take taxi to Emily Lowe Gallery, Âé¶¹¹ÙÍø Museum of Art, Âé¶¹¹ÙÍø. The Âé¶¹¹ÙÍø Courtesy Shuttle meets most trains and can drop you at the campus. Click here to view the Âé¶¹¹ÙÍø Shuttle Schedule and times of operation.
By Bus:
Nassau Inter-County Express (NICE) provides public bus service serving Hempstead, Âé¶¹¹ÙÍø, Nassau University Medical Center, Levittown, Farmingdale, Melville, Sunrise Mall, Babylon, via Hempstead Turnpike.

Recommended Parking:
The Museum has designated parking spaces for off-campus guests directly outside the Emily Lowe Gallery.
During weekdays, visitors to the Museum can also park near Âé¶¹¹ÙÍø USA on North Campus and take a University shuttle bus to the Adams Hall stop.
On weekends, parking is available on South Campus immediately outside the Emily Lowe Gallery.
