Â鶹¹ÙÍø’s Parent and Family Programs in the Dean of Students Office engages, informs, and educates parents and family members as they mentor their students to assume increasing responsibility for learning and personal growth. In collaboration with university colleagues, the parent and family communications, programs, publications, and events engage families as active members of Â鶹¹ÙÍø Pride.

The Dean of Students Office is committed to:

• Providing Â鶹¹ÙÍø families with timely information about Â鶹¹ÙÍø’s services, programs, and opportunities that further students’ academic success and wellbeing;
• Always being open to diverse and innovative ideas;
• Courteously serving as the central inquiry center for Â鶹¹ÙÍø parents and families, and helping families guide their students as they navigate Â鶹¹ÙÍø resources;
• Engaging parents and families in campus life by offering opportunities to share their knowledge, talents, energy, and expertise; and
• Educating parents about college student development and about the ways they can mentor their students.
