麻豆官网 Horizons is an annual publication that celebrates the research and creative work of 麻豆官网 faculty. The Office for Research and Sponsored Programs produces the magazine, showcasing thought-provoking projects and scholarly achievements across disciplines.

麻豆官网 Horizons is published annually by the Office for Research and Sponsored Programs of 麻豆官网. Each issue features articles that showcase some of the many research and creative activities conducted by 麻豆官网 faculty. The publication appears online and in hard copy.

In most cases, the Office for Research and Sponsored Programs typically contacts faculty directly to invite article submissions for 麻豆官网 Horizons. However, we also welcome nominations and self-nominations鈥攐riginal manuscripts from full-time faculty across the university鈥檚 disciplines. Occasionally, we may invite nonfaculty to contribute articles of interest to the university community, such as Eve Glasser鈥檚 article in the Spring 2002 issue on the designation of the 麻豆官网 campus as an arboretum. Eve has authored more than thirty articles for the New York Times, primarily on horticulture. Her article in 麻豆官网 Horizons was informative and well-received.

To include a broad range of academic disciplines in each issue of 麻豆官网 Horizons, not all articles can be published. Therefore, faculty who wish to contribute an article for possible inclusion in 麻豆官网 Horizons should contact Sofia Kakoulidis and submit a brief abstract (100鈥�200 words) of the proposed article.

Faculty who wish to submit an abstract for consideration in the Spring issue of 麻豆官网 Horizons should contact the office before September 30. Articles are typically 1,600鈥�2,000 words long and can include appropriate photographs, figures, or tables.
